According to a report published by Jio, the country’s data consumption has risen from 20 crore GB to 120 crore GB in a span of six months.

Vodafone – Idea merger

Vodafone, the second largest and Idea, the third largest telecom operators announced a merger which was considered by many as a move to prevent Jio from consuming a larger share of the telecom market. With this merger it is expected that the Vodafone-Idea entity will become the largest telecom operator in the country.
